Faithful Witness: He is the Judge, the Juror, the witness and the Advocate – who fights for our cause!

Dear Saints of the Living God – Grace and Mercy to you and your family!

This morning, as I am sitting down to write, I am asking God to say things that will honors Him, I want to say things that will lift the spirits up for the people who are reading it… are these things that I am writing gets the people fired to face the challenges that are in front of them.   Hmm… whenever these meditation are read,  are you able to sense of presence of God, because the bible says, His words don’t return back in void…

When we read James 4:8, the writer says – “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you”… We are worshipping a God, who is saying – draw yourself near me, and I am faithful and just to draw near to you…

I am listening to “crazy love” by Pastor Francis Chan, and he is talking getting alone with God, in the morning, when there is no one is around – as we read the word and it jumps out, and speaks directly into the things that we go through.

As the day begin to unfold, there are so much of noise and influence that we need to navigate through and it takes even more discipline to speak to Him.   Have you had your lone time with God today?
With that said, let us continue to hang around the book of Revelation, even though other books in the bible are special and has significance,  it is so apparent, that this book is like a hall of fame for the names given to Jesus.

He is the faithful witness, the first born from the dead, the ruler over the kings of earth, Alpha and Omega, the Almighty, He who is Holy, He who is true, He who has the keys of David, He who opens and no one shuts and shuts no one open, The Amen, the Faithful and true witness… the list goes on and on…

And so I thought, we will meditate on the names … and I pray that these meditations will break the strongholds… and give you the peace, you deserve…

Faithful witness:  There is another place, in the same book, where it says – He is not just faithful, but faithful and true witness, there is power that is mighty enough to break this witness.    He, is the one and only one, who is going to stand before the Lord, on our behalf.  There are times, what we do is, so private – that we, and we alone knows… but even what happens in the secret, is like an open book before this loving savior.

He will not going to leave a single detail from the pages of our book… the water, that you gave to someone who is in thirst; the loving hug – in the time of need;  the smile, as an encouragement to the waiter, who is waiting on your table;  the prayer, that you offered in the presence of the Savior; Anything, that you did out of pure motive, and that you don’t even remember – is registered in the book of remembrance;    isn’t that amazing.

Another thing, that I am totally ecstatic about this morning is, that, He is the one, sitting on the throne – as the Judge, He is going to be listening to all the witnesses, as the Juror, He is the one invited to the room to be the true and faithful Witness and finally, He is the Advocate – who is fighting for our cause… oh, my goodness…

Psalmist says it beautifully, in Psalms 139: 8 – 10,

Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?

 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.

He will never miss a beat on your life and mine…  if we are not careful in what we do and say, then we will be giving up our birth right to spend our time in eternity for a piece of bread and a bowl of gumbo, just like Esau.

Last Friday night,  was one of the moving all night prayer meetings that I have been in… the night was filled so many heart crushing moments – but as I was about to leave, a lady walks up to me and took every penny out of her purse and gave it all to me… she said – that’s all she has.. and she wants to give me more – my Jesus… and I am thinking this morning… will that miss the radar of this true and faithful witness?   Absolutely not…

I don’t know her name – and I don’t even know, whether I will see her again… she has invested everything that she had in her hands…

God is pounding my heart, this morning, just reminding her faithfulness – to give everything that I have and not hold anything back…

All to Jesus, I Surrender…

All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.I Surrender all,

I Surrender all,

All to thee, my blessed savior,

I surrender all…

 He is the above all the things that we have … and above all the things that we can offer… and how we are desperate for Him…

Final thoughts, as we close – when we read Lord’s prayer… it ends with the following line…

“Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth – as it is in heaven…”

I have always seen our Salvation as something for the life that is going to come, but no – it is for now… His Kingdom to come now, on this earth, as it is in Heaven.   I pray, for everyone of you – this morning, as you walk out in to this beautiful and wonderful day, the Lord has made for you – Let His Kingdom come… and His will be done in your life.

Halleluiah!   Praise the Lord!
