God said, ‘”I don’t think so!”

Dear Saints of the Living God – Blessings to you and your family!   The Lord loves the fellowship of His children coming to His feet and Praising and Worshiping and lifting His name above all the names… those are moments that we connect with the heavenly hosts … the longer that we stay in this place, the more peaceful our hearts get… The bible says, One day in the house of the Lord is better than thousand years in the world. Not only we want to be in His presence but we want to STAY in His presence.

With that said, let us jump into the meditation … there are times in our life, where we feel like everything is closing in on you – the Lord seems not speaking, and the enemy thinks that he has won the war… and have you ever wondered where is God in all this?   I want to go to certain part of the scripture God’s children went through a similar situation…

Let us jump into Exodus 15: 9 , 10 – I am sure you are very familiar with this passage… the children of Israel has really suffered enough in the hands of Pharaoh and cries out to the Lord about their situation and the Lord hears them and sends a rescue through Moses and after back and forth interactions with Pharaoh he allows them to leave the town to worship and from there the children are on route to escape… but there is a point in their journey, there is no place to go – mountains on both sides and red sea in the front… and behind them was Pharaoh army chasing them…

and that’s where this verse begins…

The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’

And the enemy thought they are done, nowhere to go… in fact, he has a plans to take the spoils… but God said, “I don’t think so…”; and the next set of verse is so beautiful…

You blew with Your wind, The sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

I don’t know what you are going through this morning, your sickness, or a loss of a job, or a separation from your loved one … and the enemy thinks, he can come and overtake you … and pursue your dreams and break them into pieces… basically he is huffing and puffing in your life… but the Lord is saying to you – I don’t think so…

When Jesus died on the cross, the hell must have hosted a huge festival and carnival saying – He is done… there is no more water turning into wine… there is no more walking on the water… no more multiplying the loaves of bread and fish… no more lame walks nor the dead getting raised… He is done… but the Lord said from heaven, “I don’t think so”…

I know, when we go through the hardship – even a small thing going wrong might look large… but I am here to encourage you that our Lord is not done with you… and He is sitting on the Throne and He will come back to judge the living and the dead…

Yesterday morning, the Lord opened an opportunity to speak at 2 churches, and so as we were driving, we were passing by Kershaw Correctional… and the Lord impressed in my heart to go into the parking lot and pray… and so we went and was crying and asking God to put his hands on this place and give strengthen leadership… and as we were praying – I didn’t see a vision or anything – but heard the rumbling sound… and I know at that moment – the enemies hands were getting tied up and his schemes are over, he can make any rumbling noise and we are not scared for all this.. I know in my heart, we are standing on a ground that is holy and this noise can do nothing… the enemies place is pre-determined and the place where he will be put for eternity has no bottom… it is a bottomless pit that’s where he belongs…   I was telling the enemy – go to hell… you cannot scare us…

I am writing this to encourage you to not give into his rumbling… we are worshipping a Savior, who is Almighty and immeasurable… He is our El-Shaddai… and the bible says, the name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run into it and are safe… He is our Elohim… He is our El Elyon – the most High God… He is our Yahweh-Rapha – who cleans every sickness… He is our Yahweh-Jireh, who provides for all our needs today.. He is our Yahweh-Nissi, the banner that we carry… He is our Yahweh-mekoddishkem – who sanctifies you and me and sets us apart…

This also reminds me about what Pastor Lockridge wrote in that famous message, “He is my King”… and there is a portion that I love…

I’m coming to tell you this, that the heavens of heavens cannot contain Him, let alone some man explain Him. You can’t get Him out of your mind. You can’t get Him off of your hands. You can’t outlive Him and you can’t live without Him. The Pharisees couldn’t stand Him, but they found out they couldn’t stop Him. Pilate couldn’t find any fault in Him. The witnesses couldn’t get their testimonies to agree about Him. Herod couldn’t kill Him. Death couldn’t handle Him and the grave couldn’t hold Him. That’s my King.

When Job lost all his children in one day… and everything that he cherished was taken away in one day – the enemy might have thought he is done… but the Lord said – I don’t think so… that’s why he lived 140 years after that… the Lord who was not done with Job is not also done with you and me.   Noah lived lot more years after the flood than before…

Let me close with these verse – as we venture into this beautiful day… with the words Solomon wrote in Proverbs 21:31, “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance is of the Lord.”   May the Good Lord brings the victory and deliverance in your life today… whatever you are going through this morning… the Lord is saying I have the authority and power to change the end statement… He has already went to the end of your life – and re-written the ending…. And told the enemy, No… no… no… the schemes and weapons that you use has no effect on my children, they are not done… “I don’t think so…”

May the good Lord bless you!!
