Help us, Lord to see the “Brilliance” of abiding in you…

Dear Saints of the Living God – Grace and Mercy to you and your family…

Have you ever look at some things that happened and ask God – Really?    Like you think of something and you really didn’t pray about it – but God still answers them.   These are little or silly things – but God cares about them.  Everything is this crazy super natural.

When I see some of the prayer warriors, I feel like God – I want to pray like them.   Pour my heart, and wrestle like Jacob to the extent of loosing my socket… look, God is a God of judgement – but you know He is also the loving father – and He will cut the slack for you and me…

The other day, in our leadership call, my good friend Lacy, at the end of the call, he said, jokingly, can you guys pray for me, because the people are not available when I am calling – and we kind of passed by this request.   But God didn’t.   20 min later, I got a text from Lacy saying – every call that he made was connected after this meeting.   What Lacy is asking for is righteous… he is trying to connect the children with their dads – how will God not be pleased with that ask.

Listen to what John 15:7 says, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you”.

The Lord is saying – Abide in me…. I will give anything that you desire… He is saying – it shall be done.  That’s all it takes, He is looking for us to love Him back… When God spoke to Moses, He gave ten commandments and not ten suggestions – and so I am not belittling the commandments, but we have to look at this God, as not someone with a stick in His hands, ready to punish.

I am here to encourage you this morning that He enjoys our fellowship… and when we say – I want to be here, Lord, and be in this place of love… lie down on Your shoulders, I don’t want to anywhere.

Look what David is singing… Psalms 27: 1 – 4;

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.

Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.

One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek;

He is engaged in the beauty of the Lord…   no fear, of anything that comes, because He knows the one sitting on the Throne is on his side.  The God of this universe is in Love with me, is there anything better than this in this world.   The good news of the Gospel is that He came down from heaven…   We need Him, not the other way around – but it is just a beautiful relationship.

You and I don’t have to go to the mountain top – but just any moment that we have during the middle of the day, where you pause to think, what is next – tell Him how much you love Him.   We cannot get enough of Him.

Let us pray… Father, we are breathing and enjoying this life only because of You, Lord.   You are such an approachable God – and help us to see the brilliance of abiding in you… you are so beautiful and wonderful, and you are all powerful, merciful, loving and the heaven and earth are adoring you… You are an amazing God – and our desire is to see you through our naked eyes, as you come down majestically on those clouds with the host of armies… stir our affections for you, Lord…

In Jesus Name…
