Our posture and attitude matters…

Dear Saints of the Living God…   Grace and Mercy to you and your family!

Psalms 100:4 says, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.”

Normally, when someone invites us for a dinner – and as we enter their house, we don’t actually Thank them before having the dinner – right?  because we don’t even know how the evening is going to flow or how their food is…

Have you ever wondered, why the Psalmist may be saying, enter His house with Thanksgiving… even before receiving anything?  When we go into His house, we need to have an heart of expectation, that the Lord is going to birth something new… with an attitude and conviction and believing that He has already got us covered!

  • Thank you God, for the healing…
  • Thank you God, for the blood that washes and makes me holy…

When we go to His presence with Thanksgiving in our heart, the things that caused our heart to feel down may not have changed, but we shift the atmosphere with our mouth of praise…     We enter His courts with an attitude that it is already finished, the whole heart of Thanksgiving changes our perspective.  If your heart is downcast and feel like a downward spiral, open your mouth with praise… the very thing that looked like a valley will start to change.   There is a fruit in the valley that our Savior wants us to have…

Today morning, I went into my prayer closet with a cheat sheet… asking God for things that needs to happen.  God had to quickly correct my attitude.  The Lord reminded me of the times in my own personal life, things started to shift when I opened my mouth with Praise…

I am not sure what is going on in your life this morning, but I am challenging you – to take this attitude to your lab and try it.   There is a tangible exchange happens in our spirit, when our heart is filled with Thanksgiving.   Things move when we speak, because our heart is closer to our Savior.

Whatever the mountain, that is standing before you this morning, it is finished!   When our Savior opens the gates of heaven – the water, the wind and the waves will obey – the situations will change.

He is the reward-er of one, who diligently seek Him…  It is finished!
