The size of your vision determines, the size of our Jericho! (Part 1)

Dear Saints of the Living God – Grace and Mercy to you and your family.

Joshua 5: 13 – 15 says,

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”

So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.”

And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”

Then the Commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.

There are so much of content on these verses, and I want to draw this like a painting and go through for the next couple of days – and I am going to ask you to join the journey as we meditate on these few verses..

Joshua is about to go into the Promised Land; the place, where he has been to – when he surveyed this place, about 40 years ago.       When Moses sent 12 people to spy this land, Joshua and Caleb didn’t see the giant people alone, but looked beyond, on what His Savior can do… They had a vision, that one day, they will show up, at this place.

And now he is standing at the final phase before entering the Promised Land.    The walls of Jericho is not only tall, but it is also so wide, that we can run 32 chariots in parallel on the top of the wall.  The Lord knows, what Joshua is up against, and that’s why He has sent the commander of chief…

Even though, Joshua was a warrior and he could take down the wall,  it wouldn’t have been pretty.    What am I saying – when we do the things – Lord’s way, then it is less messy…

Yesterday, i had a chance to minister at Catch the Fire Church, and there was lot of deliverance and ground breaking happened, but the one touched my heart was this lady, who walked up to me after the service, and said – that she is 65 years old, and that she prayed this morning to the Lord to take her home – and said, she is ready to die.

But the Lord ministered to her through the word, and now she is energized and asking God, what she can do…

When we bring the Lord into the picture, then the whole problem and the calling will start to look different…

How are you handling your calling?   Your way or Lord’s way?

This morning, I encourage you to surrender, everything that you have in your plate before the Lord, and let His commander in chief take the control of the wheels.   The place where the Lord is taking you is a beautiful one…

May the good Lord, Bless you abundantly…
