Touch not my “Anointed” ones!

Dear Saints of the Living God, Grace and Mercy to you and your family!

God Anoints each and every one of us for a season that we are in and for specific purpose. What I realized recently is, this anointing is for anyone, who repents of our sins and put their trust in the arms of our Loving Savior. And there are many verses in the bible that backs this up… My prayer is that, as we meditate on the anointing, that the Lord will energize your heart, and soul, for what He has called you to serve.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22, “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” Another version says, “He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put His spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come”

The word anointed means, “the chosen one” – that’s right, we are chosen and sealed for a specific purpose.

We all have a task to complete, and with what we have – it is humanly impossible, but the Lord says, I am going to put the booster in you, so that you can do your job with excellence, you do what is assigned to you with swiftness… He wants to prosper our Soul.

Exercise your Anointing…
Recently, when I walked into our living room, timothy (my son) was watching “American Ninja warriors”… this is a sporting event (just in case, if you are not familiar with it), where the people are trying to cross from one end of the room to the other, with the obstacles in the middle. And people train diligently to participate for years in this program. And what amazed me was, these people are toning their bodies and expanding their gifts, and making some serious commitment of their time, and in end – for what? so they could be winning a million dollar!

How come we are not putting a similar effort in exercising our faith, especially when the Lord has promised/guaranteed the anointing to take us to the next level in this Christian walk? In fact, He is guaranteeing the results, when we use our anointing. He has set us apart for a powerful journey…

Anointing is needed for both Big and small…

I was so encouraged this weekend, when I had a chance to meet with some of the grandmothers, who showed up at a church on a Saturday morning, so that they can use their anointing to help their daughter-in-law’s and their own grandchildren…

The anointing is not available only for the preachers and evangelists, but for lay people like you and me, to use them in our everyday life, like these grandma’s…

How does God views the anointed ones?
I really love 1 Chronicles 16:22, “Touch not my anointed ones”… God is commanding the winds and the waves and the dominions of the world – a message, “Don’t touch my people, who are anointed”. He knows, that we are His own, chosen generation… and in Zechariah 2:8, “…. he who touches you touches the apple of His eyes.” That’s right…

I know a warden, who actually has an oil with her all the time, so she can apply that on the problem and pray over it… and the bible backs it up – Exodus 29:7 says, “You shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him”.

Let me close with this thought from Psalms 45:7, where King David says, “… your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”, what this verse is talking about the gladness you and I should have in our heart, when compared to the people of this world… because the problem will exists in both sides of the fence (believers and non-believers in Christ), It is an undeniable evidence and we shouldn’t give room for the enemy to rob…

You are the anointed and the chosen one, let your cup runneth over this day – as you touch the people around, let the Kingdom’s righteousness flow through you, into their heart and minds.

We need to stir up our anointing!

May the Good Lord expand the territories as you exercise your anointing!
