What are you relying on – your empty barrel or His unlimited grace?

Dear Saints of the Living God – Grace and Mercy to you and your family.

Today morning, I would like to paint a picture with the same paint, we have been painting… but I pray that the Lord will put a new skin.   The content may be the same, but the Lord gives the refreshing tone.  We need reminders, from time to time – on the basics…

The other day, I was speaking to my good friend, Brigitte about doing something special for the women at Leath Correctional, and I knew it was tough to pull with our own strength, because it is last minute, but you know what God knew our heart and send the right resources on time, so these women can be blessed.   It is real, He listens to our conversation… that’s amazing grace!

___________

His unlimited Grace – through The Blood:

Revelation 12:11 says: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

I have been listening to some of the messages of Pastor Jentzen Franklin and there was something that he said stuck really hard in my mind… about the blood.

He talked about Job and said, when satan tried to attack Job, he goes before the Lord and says, remove the hedge of protection – so he can go after Job – right?   And when he went after Job, he did go after Job’s business, or his family or his wealth first… instead, he went after the animals.   You know why?  So that Job cannot sacrifice another animal and regain his protection.  Amazing…

Today, we are not under the blood protection of an ox or a cow, or any other animal, instead our protection is in the unchanging, unblemished blood of our Savior, who gave His life on the rugged cross.   His blood is fighting on your behalf and mine, that’s why Revelation 12:11 says, we overcame the enemy by the blood of the Lamb…

There is a protection in the blood of Jesus…  and the demons tremble…

There is power in the blood of Jesus… There is redemption in the blood… and there is renewal in the blood! Amen, Halleluiah!    I don’t know what you are going through this morning, but plead the blood of Jesus over your circumstances today…

______

His unlimited Grace, through our Prayers:

Sometime, when I ask, if I can pray for anything, I have seen people give some empty, generic things to pray for.   You see, we are dealing with the God, who deals with the details.   The Lord cannot do the miracle, or change lives, if we are like Martha, not willing to open the tomb.   Yes, it is going to stink, but if we don’t let the guard down, we are putting our problem aside.

There are times, we leave the pain behind until it is out of our comfort zone.   When we think, we can handle, what is going on in our lives, we leave the pain behind – No, no, no… We need to bring any pain that is in effect before the King.   Let Him deal with it.  Passivity is a spirit, and that can derail you. When the enemy knows that you are going after the unlimited grace, he will flee from you – or else, he will start to camp around you, your business, your sickness or your family.

Prayers have no boundaries, we can be in the house and praying for the people in the hospital, and the grace of the Lord travels into the lives of the people that we are praying for.  Bible says, “when two of you on earth agrees on one thing, then the Father will do it, for their sake.”

In closing,  what am I saying… we can pretend that everything is alright, or we can get real before the Lord.   Sometimes, we are not reaching out to the resources that are available to us.   Bible says in 2 Kings 6:16, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”… His presence is beyond measure, and unfathomable.

I heard a preacher say, “The Thought unspoken is the thought that is unborn.” – we have to speak life into our marriage, life into our children… we must declare the word of God over our circumstance, reach out to the Amazing Grace…  We have the Blood of Jesus on our side… we have the Holy Spirit on our side… and the biggest weapon in our arsenal is the Prayer…

Deuteronomy 31:8 says,  “And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

May this day be Blessed, and your Barrel filled with His Grace and His Mercy!!
