President’s Volunteer Service Award was awarded by President Obama; P226 facilitated the first “Forgive Me, Dear” event
2015
Two prisons in North Carolina were added; Continued to expand in South Carolina.
2017
Started in two prisons in South Dakota.
2019
Proverbs226 was implemented in all maximum-security prisons in SC
2021
South Carolina clocked the lowest rate of recidivism in the US; 52 additional kids will graduate on a P226 scholarship.
2012
Proverbs226 was founded; Organization vision was cast to the fathers in Kershaw Correctional, SC
2014
Sent three kids to college; Started working in a second prison in South Carolina (Lee Correctional)
2016
Started in two prisons in Texas.
2018
Expanded into nine prisons in North Carolina and 12 prisons in South Carolina.
2020
Started Kids2Career (Virtual Mentoring Program); Started “Be Encouraged” Network
